Amerihome, Snapdocs Partner To Expand Enote Adoption

AmeriHome Correspondent, the country’s largest bank-owned correspondent mortgage investor, has partnered with Snapdocs to facilitate broader adoption of eNotes across its lending network, which includes independent mortgage banks, credit unions and commercial banks.
As part of the partnership, AmeriHome will begin accepting eNotes through Snapdocs’ eVault platform.
Leaders said the decision is a response to growing interest in digital mortgage processes.
According to MERS eRegistry data, eNotes accounted for 9.2% of mortgage originations in 2024. Industry projections estimate that figure could reach 30% within three years.
“By leveraging our Snapdocs eVault, we are improving the speed and reliability of eNote transfers for AmeriHome while equipping its network with the tools to scale eNotes seamlessly,” Snapdocs CEO Michael Sachdev said in a statement.
AmeriHome CEO Josh Adler said the partnership signals a shift in the company’s operations toward a more digital future.
“Our collaboration with Snapdocs sets a new standard for efficiency and security in the industry,” Adler said. “This strategic move enhances our operations and positions us at the forefront of the eClosing and eNote wave sweeping the industry.”
Roughly half of all lenders currently originating eNotes are already AmeriHome partners, according to Snapdocs. The platform also reports supporting one in six eNote originations nationwide.
Some lenders said the change will accelerate their own digital efforts.
“Through our partnership with Snapdocs, we’ve achieved over 50% hybrid digital closing adoption and surpassed 35% eNote adoption,” said Alyssa North, senior vice president of operations at Primary Residential Mortgage Inc.
“The new partnership between Snapdocs and AmeriHome is an exciting development that will further boost our eNote adoption.”
