Fall Prevention: 3 Variations To Front Plane Control

Fall Prevention Awareness should be an everyday training objective.
Many individuals who are at fall risk have very poor frontal plane control.
This is a progression - from easiest to most challenging - to help develop improved frontal plane control.
3 keys during these patterns:
???? Maintain a long spine. This improves cervical-occular reflexive feedback.
???????? Maintain a relatively level pelvis. This improves gluteal activation.
#???????????? Add in movement with control. This develops proprioceptive awareness and control in multiple planes.
