What Am I Doing Wrong? Please Help.

I (M30, Austin, Tx) have been applying to jobs for the past year. A bit about myself:

For the past 5 years I have ran my own full time art business as a visual artist. During this time I gained art collectors around the world, and have some pretty awesome collaborations I’ve done as well. Prior to my art business, I worked in digital marketing doing graphic/ad design, SEO, Copywriting, and Social Media.

I’ve been trying to get back into digital marketing for the past year, and have pretty much done everything to prove that I’m serious about it. I have even obtained my Inbound Marketing, Content Marketing, Email Marketing, and Digital Advertising certifications from HubSpot academy.

I’ve landed multiple interviews where I’ve made it to the 3rd round and then get dropped. I just had to take a job in retail to start putting money in my pockets and it’s just left me feeling defeated.

I no longer know what to do. All I know is that I don’t want to be stuck in this retail shop forever.

Any tips or advice on how I can land within an agency or even in house would be greatly appreciated. PLEASE HELP!
