Urban Company's shares rallied nearly 13% on Monday after the company informed stock exchanges that its quick home services offering, InstaHelp, crossed 100,000 delivered orders in a single day. The stock also got a major boost after global brokerage Morgan Stanley upgraded the company to "Overweight" from "Underweight" and sharply raised its target price.

The announcement came just days after Urban Company reported a strong first quarter for FY27, with operating revenue rising 44% year-on-year. While the company remained loss-making during the quarter, investors looked past near-term earnings and focused on its improving growth trajectory.

Launched to offer faster, on-demand home services, InstaHelp has quickly emerged as one of Urban Company's biggest growth bets. Crossing the 100,000 daily orders mark highlights strong customer adoption and reinforces the company's position in the fast-growing convenience services segment.

Morgan Stanley upgraded the stock after the June quarter results, raising its target price to Rs 165 from Rs 128. The brokerage cited stronger execution, improving growth visibility and confidence that Urban Company could achieve its profitability targets earlier than previously expected. It also highlighted the rapid scale-up of InstaHelp as a key driver of the company's long-term growth potential.

The sharp rally indicates that investors are increasingly optimistic about Urban Company's ability to expand beyond its traditional home services business and build a larger convenience services platform. While the company continues to invest aggressively in scaling InstaHelp, the latest operating milestone and the brokerage's positive outlook have strengthened confidence in its long-term strategy.

Urban Company shares were trading around Rs 146 as of 10:48 AM, valuing the company at Rs 22,514 crore ($236 million).
