Sir Keir Starmer has insisted he will always put national interests first as he prepares to reveal details of the widely reported trade deal between the UK and the US.

The Prime Minister sought to reassure "workers, businesses and families" as speculation mounts over the finer detail of Britain's new trade agreement with US President Donald Trump.

It's been reported the UK has agreed to give some concessions on food and agriculture imports from the United States to secure an easing of export tariffs for the car industry.
