Lana Del Rey’s Alligator Tour Guide Husband Jeremy Dufrene Still Working Swamp Job Despite Singer Wife’s $40m Fortune

LANA Del Rey’s husband Jeremy Dufrene isn’t quitting his boat captain job anytime soon, despite being married to the wealthy superstar, his boss has revealed.
The couple tied the knot last year on September 26 on the Louisiana bayou where Jeremy, 50, is an alligator tour guide.

Since they got married, he has been seen on the rare occasion accompanying Lana, 40, on trips, including Paris Fashion Week this month, where they flew on a private jet.
He was seen still casually dressed in a custom blue-and-white plaid quilted jacket featuring the words “Go Gator Go” and a trucker hat, showing his humble roots.
And he’s not quitting his job anytime soon to live on Lana’s dime, despite her reportedly being worth $40 million, as he’s still committed to making his own living.
Chad Matherne, who took over from his father two years ago, runs Airboat Tours by Arthur – which has been going for three decades.
He told The U.S. Sun, “Jeremy still works part time. Arthur’s my dad, he’s retired. He still runs every once in a while, he runs when he feels like it, kinda like Jeremy.”
Although he said they refrain from commenting on Jeremy’s personal life, he said they have seen an increase in people booking tours.
“We got a little busier, we get some business, because of the popularity, but we were still pretty busy before [he met Lana].
“We’ve been doing this for 30 years, we have a reputation.
We have a passion for what we do.”

“This is a family business and we love what we do and we like to share it with everyone.
“I’m not sure when he [Jeremy] started but I want to say 2010/2012 ish, several years.
“We have a passion for what we do,” he said, adding that is why Jeremy doesn’t want to leave the job completely despite his new found fame.
“We only run airboats, we have six passenger boats, and the larger boats that carry up to 16.
“We run throughout the day and all the way up until 30 minutes after dark.”
Jeremy’s bio on the company’s website show how he pivoted and found his calling.
It reads, “Jeremy decided life at a chemical plant working 7 days a week and shrimping on vacation days was not his calling.
“After a little convincing by his family, he got his captain’s license and started running tours.
“He quickly realized that this was a great fit and he has never thought of going back to his previous career at the plant.
“Jeremy’s a great airboat captain and loves interacting with wildlife & customers.”
FIRST ANNIVERSARY
Jeremy and Lana had a low-key wedding in Des Allemandes – where he operates the popular swamp boat tours, and they recently celebrated their anniversary.
He shared on Instagram, “Just want to wish my precious bride a Happy 1st year Anniversary. A lifetime of love and happy tears to go.”
Lana also posted a photograph of a cake and shared more about the celebratory trip, “Thank you so much San Ysidro Ranch Doing what we do best – driving the open roads Coast to Coast.”
The U.S. Sun previously revealed that the couple live in a humble home he had built and is now worth around $273,000.
Jeremy first bought the land many years ago and built his home from the ground up in 2021, according to property records.
It is described as a “one wood frame, five room house, together with boat shed in front on the bank of bayou.”
Google images also show the home in Des Allemandes offers stunning views.
The town is known as the “Catfish Capital of the Universe,” and is along the Bayou des Allemands.
Lana also still owns a home in Los Angeles which they often stay at, especially for her work.
But they are mostly in Louisiana where Jeremy has three children, a son, and two daughters, with his ex-wife.
