Egypt’s Praxilabs Named Winner Of Visa’s “she’s Next” Programme

Egyptian startup PraxiLabs has been selected as winner of Visa’s “She’s Next” programme, taking home US$20,000 in prize money.

“She’s Next”, delivered in collaboration with CIB Business Banking and Shark Tank, is designed to empower women entrepreneurs and accelerate business growth through access to training, mentorship, visibility, and funding.

This year’s edition attracted more than 2,500 applications from women-led businesses, after which nine finalists were selected to pitch their businesses to a distinguished panel of experts and investors.

PraxiLabs, which has developed an interactive virtual lab for science education, was named overall winner, securing US$20,000 in prize money. Sustainable fashion brand Up-Fuse was second, banking US$15,000, and prop-tech startup Kennah third, winning US$10,000.

Over the past months, participants in the programme benefited from specialised training and mentorship sessions focused on strengthening business models, improving pitch readiness, leveraging digital tools and emerging technologies, and preparing for sustainable growth. The winners were recognised for their innovative business models, strong growth potential, and ability to address real market needs.

Through She’s Next, Visa is proud to support women-led businesses with the tools, resources, funding, and networks they need to grow, scale, and create lasting impact. We believe that when women entrepreneurs are empowered, they not only grow their own businesses, but also contribute to stronger communities and a more inclusive economy,” said Malak El Baba, vice president and country manager for Visa in Egypt, Libya, and Sudan.
