Apple TV is having quite a stellar a year, and the service is finishing it off in style with a can't-miss Cyber Monday sale. The Apple TV Cyber Monday deal can help you save over 50% on your first six months of service.

In a rare move, Apple TV decided to get in on the biggest shopping holiday of the year, launching a proper Cyber Monday deal after mostly sitting out last year. The limited-time deal gives new and qualified returning subscribers their first six months of service for just $5.99 a month, a substantial discount to the standard $12.99 a month pricing. The promotional offer will lock subscribers into a reduced rate for half a year, and then subscriptions will auto-renew at the then-standard rate.

Apple TV has made leaps and bounds in recent months, rebranding its name from Apple TV Plus, nabbing the US rights to Formula 1 races beginning in 2026, and launching one of the most highly anticipated shows of the fall. The service — which made headlines with the second season of "Severance" earlier in the year, recently released a new season of "The Morning Show," and is currently dropping the first season of "Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan's new series "Pluribus" — is best known for its Apple Originals, with a particular success rate on science fiction programming.

Below, we've outlined everything you need to know about Apple TV and the 2025 Cyber Monday deal, including when it ends. For even more sales, check out our guides to the best Cyber Monday streaming deals and the best overall Cyber Monday deals.

FAQ

When does the Apple TV Cyber Monday deal end?

The Apple TV deal concludes on Cyber Monday, which is December 1, 2025. The deal officially ends at 8 p.m. PT or 11 p.m. ET, so we recommend not waiting until the end of the day if you're planning to sign up.

What else is on Apple TV?

In addition to TV series like "The Morning Show," "Severance," and "Pluribus," Apple TV is the home to original shows including "Ted Lasso," "For All Mankind," "Silo," "Shrinking," and "Slow Horses." The streaming service also carries select movies, including "Killers of the Flower Moon," "The Gorge," and "Spirited."

As we mentioned above, Apple TV will be the exclusive US home to F1 broadcast rights beginning in 2026. The streaming service already carries Friday Night Baseball games when the MLB is in season. Apple's MLS Season Pass also has comprehensive coverage of the MLS regular and postseason and, beginning with the 2026 season, all MLS matches will be included in regular Apple TV subscriptions, with no need to pay for any extras.

Is Apple TV worth it?

Apple TV ranks among the best streaming services we've tested, thanks to its impressive selection of Apple Originals, growing live sports options, and a relatively cheap price when compared to other ad-free streaming services. On average, the service is about $5 cheaper each month than its ad-free Netflix, HBO Max, Peacock, Disney Plus, and Hulu counterparts (and that's before the Cyber Monday deal).

The streamer has had a particularly strong year with Apple Originals and made its way to the top of our Senior Associate Streaming Editor's list of recommended services. While it lacks a big back-catalog of licensed programming, which means you might run through content quickly if this is your only streaming app, its originals and continued investment in exclusive sports streaming rights continue to keep the service in the conversation.

That said, whether a streaming service is "worth it" ultimately comes down to your household's needs and interests, but those who are invested in prestige original TV series and select sports might find that Apple TV is worth their time. You can learn more in our Apple TV guide.
