A Vision Beyond Marketing

Are you all happy with your careers in marketing for the long term? I do find it quite a bore sometimes. The endless quest for growth and leads for businesses I have no stake in.

What keeps me going is having a goal beyond this that I can leverage your marketing skills to move into. Ideally what I mean is start my own business and sell a product or productised service. I do actually already have my own freelance / small agency marketing & digital business now but it's all about traffic, leads, and conversions. Over time I've moved up further to lead in positioning and product/service pivots. This is still a grind but I've got a full stack of skills now. I'm now developing a couple of digital product and productised service ideas, and am a part stakeholder in a Sass business with and awesome 4 person team.

Does anyone else out there have this type of vision or plan?

The skills of an experienced full stack marketer are so valuable, much better to apply them to ones own investments. AI is making building a business a whole lot easier now too.
