'lol': Marjorie Taylor Greene Mocked On X After Being 'roasted' By Musk's Ai Bot

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) got into an argument with Elon Musk's artificial intelligence tool about God.

The Republican congresswoman made a post Friday morning on X stating her views on Christianity, patriotism and family, which she then asked the platform's Grok chatbot to explain – and she didn't like what the AI tool had to say about her platitudes.

"I’m a Christian, an imperfect sinner saved by grace and faith in Jesus," read her initial post. "I’m a nationalist, a proud American, who loves my country and wants to make our home nation is the best place for all American citizens and future generations to come. I’m a mother, thankful for the blessings and responsibility God gave me with my children."

"I’m a business owner, humbled and grateful to be able to work as hard as humanly possible in the greatest country in the world to be successful, where nothing is given and all is earned," Greene added. "I’m a Representative, elected to serve the greatest people from the greatest district on the greatest country on Earth! May God bless each of you and may God bless America!!!"

She ran the post through the chatbot, and it rendered an explanation.

"Marjorie Taylor Greene identifies as a Christian, expressing faith in Jesus and traditional beliefs, like in her 2021 Christmas message," Grok offered. "However, her Christian nationalism and support for conspiracy theories, like QAnon, spark debate. Critics, including religious leaders, argue her actions contradict Christian values of love and unity, citing her defense of January 6 and divisive rhetoric."

"Supporters may see her stances as faith-driven," the chatbot added. "Whether she's 'really' a Christian is subjective, depending on personal and theological views. Her faith appears genuine to her, but public actions create controversy."

Greene was incensed by the generative AI chatbot's description of her views, and she let it know.

".@grok the judgement seat belongs to GOD, not you a non-human AI platform," Greene posted. "Grok is left leaning and continues to spread fake news and propaganda. When people give up their own discernment, stop seeking the truth, and depend on AI to analyze information, they will be lost."

Critics mocked Greene's umbrage at the large language model chatbot.

"lol mtg is fighting with a computer about god," posted Washington Post columnist Philip Bump.

"Grok just roasted MTG for being a fake Christian," said X user Snark Queen Bee.

"I generally never want to hear about MTG or Grok but I will allow an exception in this case," added legal technologist Sarah Glassmeyer.

"I love how Grok gives the most basic repetition of a 'both sides' argument I'd expect from a ninth grader, and it's too much for Greene," said Bluesky user Aubrey Gilleran.
