‘f*ck The Ufc’: Craig Jones Blows Up Dana White Mannequin After Claiming Ufc Bjj Stole His Concept

Craig Jones doesn’t seem all that happy with UFC BJJ.

The multi-time grappling champion, who runs the Craig Jones Invitational, took aim at the new offshoot UFC promotion that features top athletes from Brazilian jiu-jitsu competing in an event he believes looks eerily similar to his own. With the first major event set to go down Wednesday from Las Vegas, Jones released a sarcastic video wishing the new promotion all the luck in the world.

“People think I’m taking this UFC BJJ very personal but I wish their finale today all the success in the world,” Jones said on his Instagram account. “Obviously, they stole the pit, the rules, the judges, they’re blocking staff from working our event but I hope the finale goes off with a bang today.

“I hope all you guys tune in to watch my ideas come to fruition on the UFC YouTube channel.”

Jones’ own CJI events also take place in Las Vegas with the next card slated for August at the Thomas and Mack Center where the Australian grappler faces Olympic gold medal winning wrestler Gable Steveson in the main event.

Obviously he believes that the UFC took a lot of elements away from his show for the launch of UFC BJJ.

In the video, Jones caps off his complaints by firing a rocket launcher at a mannequin featuring UFC CEO Dana White’s face on it and a photo of the new UFC BJJ belt that is going to be handed out to the winners at Wednesday’s event.

“F*ck the UFC,” Jones shouted before the mannequin exploded.

While he’s clearly unhappy with how UFC BJJ is doing business, Jones maintains a close relationship with a number of top fighters in the promotion. In fact, Jones worked a lot with new UFC welterweight champion Jack Della Maddalena prior to his win over Belal Muhammad in May to sharpen up his grappling skills.

Jones may love the fighters but he certainly doesn’t seem to have a whole lot of love for the UFC these days.
