Ford’s New Package Turns Super Duty Into Rolling Tribute To America

Ahead of the Fourth of July, Ford has announced a new Proud to Honor Package for the 2027 Super Duty. It’s designed to turn the truck into a “rolling tribute” to America.

Created by Ford Custom Garage, the package features a prominent American flag graphic that starts at the front doors and continues all the way to the middle of the bed. It screams stars and stripes, which is fitting as this year mark’s America’s 250^th anniversary.

While the graphic is kind of cool, it’s paired exclusively with a black exterior to “ensure the full visual impact.” That’s a bit of a bummer, but Ford throws in darkened exterior accents and 19.5-inch forged aluminum wheels with a black finish.

The package will be offered on XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum trims as well as on models with single and dual rear wheels. Ford is currently accepting orders for 2027 F-250 models with the Honor Package, while the F-350 and F-450 will follow this summer.

Interestingly, Ford implied the package can be installed after assembly. As they noted, it can be added at the factory or “by a certified Ford dealer.” The automaker went on to say the package comes with a supplemental 3-year/36,000-mile warranty, which hopefully ensures the graphic looks good for years to come.

While the package is little more than a giant sticker, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Blue Star Families and Ford’s own Proud to Honor program. The former is “committed to strengthening military families by connecting them with their neighbors to create vibrant communities of mutual support.”

Besides the Honor Package, the 2027 Super Duty is notable for offering a new Carhartt variant. The automaker also expanded availability of the Tremor package and Platinum trim.
