Autohunter Spotlight: 2011 Jaguar Xkr Coupe
Currently listed for sale on AutoHunter is this 2011 Jaguar XKR Coupe. This example represents the facelifted version of the second-generation XK. Power comes from a supercharged DOHC 5.0 V-8 engine backed by a six-speed automatic transmission. Features include leather upholstery and woodgrain trim, dual-zone automatic climate control, Bowers & Wilkins sound system, and more. Painted Liquid Silver over a Warm Charcoal leather interior, this British gran turismo comes from the private seller with an owner’s manual, clean AutoCheck report, and clear title.
Designed by Ian Callum (also known for the Aston Martin Vantage, DB7, DB9, and Vanquish), the Jaguar XK is the one which brought Jaguar styling into the modern era while at the same time visually celebrating its historic design language. Many people consider the XKR akin to a bargain Aston Martin Vantage, and they probably aren’t wrong. The original Liquid Silver is complemented by matching left/right-side power mirrors, front fender extractors, tinted windows, and more. It rides on stock 19-inch stock wheels with staggered-width Continental ExtremeContact radial tires, with the seller noting that the wheels show some slight curb rash.
The interior Warm Charcoal leather upholstery shows some slight wear on the drivers seat door facing bolster but otherwise looks to be in good shape. The woodgrain trim (something Jaguars are noted for) is in great condition, as are the dash and carpets. Options on this example include power seats with memory function, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, power locks, power windows, power steering, power tilt and telescopic steering column, heated steering wheel, a fantastic sounding 525-watt Bowers & Wilkins sound system, and factory infotainment system with Bluetooth integration. As this is the facelifted, second-generation XK, it features the center console with power-retractable rotary shift dial with selectable drive modes.
Instrumentation consists of a 175-mph speedometer, 8,000-rpm tachometer, and fuel gauge, plus gear selector and door schematic.
Under the bonnet is the supercharged 5.0 DOHC V-8 featuring 503 horsepower and 461 lb-ft of torque. What this means for performance is 0-60 in 5.0 seconds, a quarter-mile sprint in 13.5 seconds, and a top speed of 174 mph. The odometer reads 81,551 miles, which is in line with the December 2025 AutoCheck reading of 80,871 miles.
I was at the press launch for the 2011 Jaguar XKR, and these cars are the very essence of a British GT: stunning styling, supreme interior comfort, and performance that lives up to the promises to which its design alludes. These cars are also quite reliable and easy to maintain — certainly one of very best higher- end GT coupe deals available today. The example featured in this AutoHunter Spotlight is a great entry point into the world of British GTs. If an Aston Martin Vantage is beyond your means (both in cost and service needs) yet you still love the idea of a modern British GT, then I highly recommend that take a you bid on this 2011 Jaguar XKR Coupe sooner than later because the auction ends on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. (PDT).
