Autohunter Spotlight: 1949 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup 4-speed

Card image cap

Right now on AutoHunter, you can find this restored 1949 Chevrolet 3100 pickup, which is powered by a rebuilt 235ci I-6 mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Finished in green and black two-tone paint over a black vinyl interior, this Advance-Design pickup is now offered by the selling dealer in Kansas with a clear title.

The front end and the fenders of this classic American truck are finished in black; the rest of the body is covered in green. Exterior features include chrome bumpers and grille, two-piece windshield, windshield visor, dual side mirrors, cab-mounted fuel cap, running boards, wood bed slats, padded tailgate chains, and single exhaust outlet.

The 15-inch wheels’ chrome hub caps and 6.70-15 Firestone whitewall tires add flashes of brightness to the dark color scheme. Behind the wheels are front disc and rear drum brakes.

Inside, there’s a major update: new black vinyl upholstery on the bench seat. Interior features include gray fabric door panel accents, column-mounted turn signal assembly, lap belts, and floor-mounted manual shifter.

Instrumentation consists of an 80-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, battery, oil pressure, and temperature. The odometer shows 663 miles, but this truck is mileage-exempt, according to its title.

Under the hood, the rebuilt 235ci I-6 is connected to a rebuilt single-barrel carburetor, aluminum radiator, and 12-volt electrical system with an alternator. A four-speed manual gearbox delivers the engine’s power to the 4.11 rear gear.

If you want this 1949 Chevrolet 3100 to be delivered to your house, bid on it now and don’t stop until the auction ends on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. (PDT).
